Elsa Dress
This dress was designed for my 4 years old daughter, who is still in the “Elsa business” (Frozen), but I believe it will be a fit for a 5, even a 6 years old.
The upper part, which is supposed to resemble to a transparent fabric, was quite a challenge.
I have also decided adding a lining under the bodice, achieving a very comfortable wearing experience.
The Japanese glass beads give an extra sparkle in an elegant way, enriching the whole impression.
I provided 4 different gauges referring to the 4 different types of yarn, for each part of the dress.
The dress worked from the bottom up, in the rounds then in flat, turning the piece up side down, continuing from the top to the bottom without seams. (Only the bodice needs to be seamed at the sides.)
The sleeves was built up by using Magic Loop and short row method at the same time.
