With lacy swirls, reminiscent of frost patterns on glass, Elsa features top-down construction with a heel flap and gusset and rounded toe.

Sizes: Small and Large, to fit an approximate foot circumference of 7-7 1/2” (17.75-19 cm) and 8-8 1/2” (20-21.5 cm).

Suggested Yarn 100 g of light fingering weight sock yarn. Yarns with a high twist show off the stitch pattern to its best advantage. Small sample was knit with Chick Ashby Merino Nylon Fingering in “Blue Sugar” and large sample was knit with Cascade Heritage Sock Yarn in 5655 “Como Blue”.

Needles: US size 0 (2 mm) or size needed to obtain gauge

Notions: Stitch markers, tapestry needle

Skill level: Advanced beginner to experienced. Techniques include knit, purl, yarnovers, decreases, working in the round, and Kitchener stitch. Pattern includes charts and accompanying written chart instructions.

Many thanks to my test knitters, Jessica and Marilyn.
