Elsie Vest Slipover
The Elsie Slipover is a loose fitting vest that is designed to be worn over clothing. There is a 20-25cm positive ease built into the garment so it is soft and luscious when wearing. Choose a size that is relative to your bust to provide the ease throughout. The model has a bust size of 98cm, therefore chose a M size (90-95) to allow for the clothing underneath to be loose. The slipover is worked with an intentional roll over of stocking stitch on the bottom of the vest - slipover, armholes and neckline (the garment is not blocked, however if you wish to block it, provide the garment a spritz with cold water will suffice). The base of the slipover is a 1x1 ribbing that meets a double moss stitch to create texture and softness throughout. Finally the slipover is met with a deep front neckline to show off those unbuttoned shirts for the work office or a tight fitted shirt underneath to allow the Elsie Slipover to be admired.
