I just added a written-out transcription of the chart, so people who don’t like charts can use the pattern, too.

Long rows of cushy garter stitch form the main body of the Elva Shawl, making it ideal for walks in the late autumn sunshine (or any other occasion!). The beautiful yet easy lace pattern running along one edge gives a little bit of interest without being frilly. The shawl knits up fast and is a great project to try your hands on lace.

Finished measurements after blocking (long side x height):

small: 110 x 55 cm (43 x 22’’)
medium: 157 x 78 cm (62 x 31’’)
large: 203 x 102 cm (80 x 40’’)

The sample was knit in size small, using Manos del Uruguay Silk Blend in colourway 3043 Juniper.

You will need approx. 2 skeins for size small, 5 skeins for size medium and 7 skeins for size large. The pattern can easily be adapted to larger/smaller sizes.
