Elvan is a side-to-side triangular shawl inspired by the geometric emblems and hushed tones of vintage woven carpets. Staggered intarsia patterns travel the shawl like woven stories, mixed with pools of bobbles that lend an uber-plush feel. Elvan’s long tips and shallow depth make for a super-wearable accessory that fits perfectly into a contemporary wardrobe.

The shawl requires a main color for the background, and nine contrast colors for the intarsia motifs. Get creative choosing your palette using mini-skeins or leftovers from your stash.
