I love big eyelets (I cannot lie…), and I love how eyelets knit up in this Aran weight yarn. You can also used a worsted weight yarn. The eyelets will still be delightful.

Gauge is critical, if you are starting with one skein of Woolfolk TOV. There are comments in the pattern about where to stop early if you are playing yarn chicken. I had only a few yards left when I completed my sample.

This is a small shawlette. My sample was 50 inches (127 cm) long and 9 inches (23 cm) deep.

Skills required: knit, purl, k2tog, ssk, and double yarnovers
