Embellishment Cowl is knit in the round from the bottom up with 2 skeins of fingering weight yarn in contrasting colors. You can add add bling with sparkly yarn, beads, and contrasting color. Embellishment features an elongated Shell Lace novelty stitch pattern, a Quilted Lattice slip stitch pattern, and optional beads.

Beads are optional, but highly recommended for the shorter cowls. You can knit the Quilted Lattice with or without beads, or knit the “quilting” threads in your contrast color, with or without beads. So many options!

Three sizes are included, but you can increase or decrease your stitch count for sizes in between and beyond.

Note: I had more than enough yarn for two small cowls, plus the longer cowl with the colors reversed, using 2 skeins of Schmutzerella Spectacular.

This pattern was originally designed for Knit Camp with Olive Knits. The pattern has been tech edited and test knit via Olive Knits.
