The inspiration for this tunic top design was from the traditional gansey sweaters which were worn by fisherman.

I wanted to incorporate the feel of those sweaters into something more modern for women, hence the fitted body and asymmetrical hemline.

The british yarn by West Yorkshire Spinners that I made the tunic in is a beautiful quality yarn which, was a real delight to knit with. It is also soft and comfortable to wear.
