The Emberly Cowl was inspired by worm nights sitting in front of a fire, enjoying cozy fall nights. This cowl was designed with fingering weight yarn, and has a tight fit around your neck, but this cowl is so simple to adjust to your own preferences. If you want worsted weight, or a looser fit, that is easily achieved with small adjustments.
If you want to change the size of yarn or have it be a bit bigger, all you need to do is cast on a different number of stitches. Chain up the amount of stitches to achieved the fit you want, just make sure it is an even number. This cowl is worked with two center points and an equal amount of stitches on either side. If you change the number of stitches you cast on, just remember your stitch count will be different then mine, and you will use more yarn but the cowl is worked the same way.
