Easy scarf worked in stockinette/reverse stockinette with garter stitch border. This would be a good introduction to charts project, as the heart chart is easy to follow.

Although the instructions call for 3 colors, this pattern could easily be modified to be all in one color, or each square a different color.

Pattern Description: “Worked in a bulky-weight, cotton-blend yarn, the Embossed Heart Scarf knits up in an evening and is super soft and snugly. The smaller size fits both children and adults, while the larger size, at 70” long, makes a dramatic scarf for grown-ups.” Page 45
