The story behind this pattern:

Plants

When plants suddenly start walking into my house, I know my mourning period is over.

And you can take that literally: my best friend asks me if I want to buy a plant with her. So I walk home with that same plant. A little later, another friend comes by with tomato plants. Still later, cuttings from a third friend’s garden find their way into my house.

And then I start to feel the urge to bring some beautiful houseplants into my home myself. They are called Bernard, Louise, Napolina and Leon – because I dare to embrace life again.
