Spare knitting needle size 10.5 (6.5 mm) or slightly smaller, for 3-needle bind off

Circular needle is used to accommodate the large number of stitches. Work back and forth on circular needle as if working on straight needles.

Button Flap and Buttonhole Flap are worked first, then stitches are cast on between the Flaps for front edge of the Hood.

Design features three needle bind off technique.
