Pattern is written and charted.

Emerald is written for three sizes. Photos show the middle size which measures 70” across the wingspan and 18” deep at the widest point. After completing knitting there was 60 grams left of the second 100 gram skein.

The daisy stitch pattern used for the main body will open during blocking to create a long shallow shawl. Due to the way the shawl increases it is not completely symmetrical (the “point” is slightly off center). To wear the shawl arrange it so the shorter side goes across your back. Use the longer edge to wrap across your body an over the opposite shoulder.

When blocking remember that yarn only has just so much stretch. If you pull the shawl to be wider it won’t stretch as far in length and vice versa.
