The pattern has been improved by testing and the pattern features the longer ribbing of the fist picture shown.

This hat is the perfect project for you, if you love stranded knitting. And even if you are just starting out to do color-work. Because it really is not difficult to knit.

Testers enjoyed this pattern and some of them made this hat for their male friends. As it appears, the EMI hat really is a unisex accessory, especially if you leave away the pompom.

I consider this pattern also ‘a child’ of the Signum sweater, I designed earlier link text. It features the same chart and if you, by any chance, already have the sweater, this hat will fit perfectly.
