Emily is a soft, cosy cowl that is knitted in the round. It uses a mixture of knit, purl and eyelets to create a texture that looks great and the variation adds interest for the knitter. It is a quick and easy knit for an advanced beginner.

It uses just one skein of fingering/4 ply yarn and is a good project for hand dyed or kettle dyed yarns.

The pattern has a picot cast on and cast/bind off but will also look good with a straight edge if you prefer.

It can easily be adapted to have a larger or smaller circumference, just cast on an even number of stitches.
