Emma is a super fun and easy cowl. The pattern is written very loosely as you can make it lighter or bulkier depending on your preference. The cowl is knit in one long rectangle using garter stitch, knitting every row and a small rectangle made in the same fashion. First you seam you cowl pieces together at the cast on and bind off creating a circle. Secondly you knit the small piece and seam the cast on and bind off together while wrapped around, width wise, the cowl. You will have created a bow-like shape in the front of your cowl for a simple and cute detail!
