Double pointed knitting needles size US 4 (3.5 mm) or size to get gauge 4” x 4 “= 20 sts x 28 rows (in stockinette stitch)
One size smaller double pointed needles than your main needles such as US 6 (3 mm)
Stitch holder, tapestry needle and a marker
