Pattern is for one 30” square blanket worked in seed stitch and self-striping yarn. Blanket is suitable for a baby or lap throw.

The directions assume user has basic knowledge of knitting and crocheting, to include: knit, purl, slip stitches, bind off, cast on, and single crochet.

Both yarns used in this pattern are discontinued. Substitute a chunky self-striping yarn with a long transition between colors for the main body of the blanket. Select a worsted weight/ medium / or DK weight yarn to work the edging.
