Description

I first made these extra-cozy, reversible mittens for my friend, Emma, who wanted a pair she could wear with anything. Double-knit in squishy, bulky-weight wool, they are ideal for keeping hands toasty warm in snowy conditions, with plenty of outfit coordination. Have fun choosing two colors that compliment your closet! These mittens are worked flat and seamed, allowing knitters a clear view of their work. Sized for kids and adults, these mittens provide wearable warmth for the whole family!

Sizes*

Child (2-8 yrs)
Wrist(cuff) circumference = 5”(7.5”)*
Length from wrist to fingertip = 7”

Adult XS/S
Wrist(cuff) circumference = 6”(8.5”)*
Length from wrist to fingertip = 8”

Adult M/L
Wrist(cuff) circumference = 7”(9.5”)*
Length from wrist to fingertip = 9”

Measurements take into account the weight of yarn. For example, the children’s size fits a wrist circumference of 5”; however, the completed cuff circumference will be 7.5” when measured around the outside of mitten.

Yarn
I used one skein of each color in the Quince & Co. Puffin yarn.
