Emma’s suit is worked from the top down in stockinette stitch. A subtle row of purl stitches decorates the neckline and a button band along the front left raglan line ensures a comfortable fit when dressing your little one in it. The suit is worked back and forth to form the button band and is then closed to be knitted in the round which is how the rest of the yoke, the body and the sleeves are worked. The legs are worked back and forth. At the end stitches are picked up into the side edge of each leg opening to form the button band, which makes for easy opening when we need to change those nappies.
