This slightly cropped mock turtleneck is the 90s crushed velvet pullover of my dreams. Wear it with a classic mini skirt and combat boots à la Liv Tyler or Alicia Silverstone, or pair it with high-waist black skinnies for a more modern look. Subtle waist and shoulder shaping and easy drop sleeves make this the perfect sweater pattern for an adventurous beginner!

This pattern is part of a collaboration with Lion Brand Yarn Company using their Vel-Luxe yarn. To purchase a kit please visit their site here.

This is an easy level crochet pattern and the techniques involved are half double crochet, hdc2tog, single crochet, slip stitches, skipping stitches, and seaming.

All patterns are written in standard US terms.
