Em’s Crochet Messy Bun Hat is super easy and so quick to make.

SKILL LEVEL: EASY (ADVANCED BEGINNER). You should be familiar with working single and double crochet stitches, front and back double crochet post stitches.

MATERIALS

• Yarn Weight: #4 Medium Worsted Weight / Aran
I used Alize Burcum yarn, but you can make it with any medium weight yarn you have in your stash.

• Hook: 6 mm US J-10 or hook needed to obtain the gauge
• 2 elastic hair bands, stitch markers, scissors, tapestry needle, measuring tape.

GAUGE
13 dc sts and 8 rows = 10 cm / 4 in square

SIZE
One size fit most for head circumference 51 - 53 cm / 20-21 in

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
The hat is 23 cm / 9 in wide and 22 cm / 8.7 in tall
