ABOUT:
Knit from the bottom up, this delicate lacey hat has a lovely traveling vine with crown decreases that form a beautiful swirl at the top.

SIZES: (measurements unstretched)
Hat is designed to be worn with approximately 2”–4” (5–10 cm) of negative ease, depending on size and desired fit.
• Small - 17”/43 cm circumference at brim, 8.5”/ 21.5 cm height - fits 20” / 51 cm head
• Med - 18”/45.5 cm circumference at brim, 9”/23 cm height - fits 21” / 53 cm head
• Large - 19”/ 48 cm circumference at brim, 9.5”/ 24 cm height - fits 22” / 56 cm head

GAUGE:
24 sts + 26 rnds = 4” / 10 cm in Beaded Rib on smaller needles.

YARN:
• Shelridge Yarns, Touch Fine (80% SW Merino, 10% cashmere, 10% nylon) lace/lt fingering 525 yds / 480 m per 100 g (3.53 oz) skein, color “Oyster.” Yarn is held double throughout.

• Yarn required (approx):
o Small: 46 g / 1.6 oz / 219 yds / 201 m
o Medium: 55 g / 2.0 oz / 262 yds / 240 m
o Large: 65 g / 2.3 oz / 310 yds / 284 m

• Skeins required (based on 100 g / 525 yd): 1 skein for each size (wind into two equal balls to hold double).

• You can also use ANY heavy lace wt or light fingering wt yarn held double OR fingering wt yarn held with lace wt yarn OR a strand of DK wt yarn held single. If you decide to use a DK wt yarn, keep in mind that your fabric may be denser and have less drape.

US 4/3.5 mm 16” /40.5 cm circular or dpns (for ribbed brim)
