The Endelaus Socks are the final installment in Skeindeer’s Matchy-matchy accessory club. Staying true to the name of the club, the sock pattern employs the Endelaus chart, derived from the Norwegian village of Selbu. The socks are worked cuff-down, in the round, with a heel-flap and gusset.

I hope you will enjoy this pattern, and if you need any help, please do not hesitate to contact me in my Ravelry group ‘Skeindeer Knits’. It’s the best place for swift support.

Needles
Gauge-size needles for working short circumference in the round and flat. You might need two different sizes to be sure you knit both stockinette and colourwork at the same gauge.

Construction
The socks are worked cuff-down in the round with adjustable lengths for the colourwork leg and foot.

The heel-flap and turn are worked flat. Then resume to work in the round by picking up stitches on each side of the heel flap, and decrease for the heel gusset. Finish by decreasing for the toe.
