This pattern is for a crocheted sweater with leaf motifs, using overlay mosaic crochet techniques. The sweater has a circular yoke, made top-down in the round, requiring no seaming. The body and the sleeves are made with the Block Stitch.

Based on this pattern, the Endless Fall Overlay Mosaic Crochet Pullover Sweater can be made in six sizes (from XS to 2XL) that typically fit the following women’s bust sizes, with a positive ease of about 2-4”:
XS: 30–32”/76–81cm
S: 34–36”/86–91cm
M: 38–40”/96–102cm
L: 42–45”/107–114cm
XL: 47–50”/119–127cm
2XL: 52–54”/132–137cm

This pattern is not complicated, but if you are completely new to crochet as a craft, this will be too challenging as a first project. If you are confident in your basic crochet skills, but new to mosaic crochet, this may be a good challenge project.

If you are experienced with mosaic crochet, you may find this project easy – some of the instructional details or explanations may be unnecessary to you.

The pattern includes tutorials, written instructions, mosaic charts, round-by-round progress pictures for the mosaic yoke, and lots of pictures for all the other parts.

This sweater is worked from the neck down. This allows you to try it on early, see how it fits, and make necessary adjustments. Basic instructions for adjustments are also provided in the pattern.

Left-handed crocheters: you can work on this pattern without any problems. Left-handed (mirrored) mosaic charts are provided, and the written instructions work for both right-handed and left-handed people.

The pictures show two versions: one is a short-sleeve version summer top, made with 100% cotton. It is shown with a green ombre base and white leaves. The other version in the pictures is a pullover sweater for colder weather, using acrylic yarn, with matching weight (DK) and matching gauge. The pattern includes instructions for two types of long sleeves: straight and tapered. Approximate yarn amounts are provided for the long sleeve version, with some additional notes on the short sleeve cotton version.
