This pattern has been tested. Thank you SO much to my wonderful and talented testers.
Enez Balleran is a short top worked seamlessly in one piece in the round from the top down with a lace motif at the yoke. The sleeves and the body are separated, underarm stitches are added, then body and sleeve sections are worked in the round top down to the desired length. A stitch marker is positioned at the middle / center of the back. The back neck is shaped with short rows, for slight shaping and a nice fit. The body and sleeve finish with a ribbed hem. The lace motif and the loose fit make it an easy garment to wear.

Yarn:
about 554 (621, 688, 735, 874) yards, 510 (570, 630, 680, 800) m
yardage given is for COMBINED yarn; so if your size calls for 600 yds, it requires 600 yds of the fingering yarn, plus 600 yds of lace weight mohair yarn.

shown here in:
Hedgehogfibres, Kidsilk Lace - 2 Ply (70% mohair, 30% silk; 420 metres (459 yards) per 50 gr skein) 2 (2/2/2/2)skeins. Sample uses colour Fool’s Gold
Lichen and Lace, Fingering - 4 Ply (100% merino superwash 366 M (400 yards) per 100 gr skein) 2 (2/2/2/3) skeins. Sample uses colour Amber
I used a blend of fingering yarn + mohair lace weight, but if you wish to substitute I suggest using a DK weight yarn.

I suggest choosing a size with between 4 and 12” positive ease relative to your chest measurement.
julie is wearing a size M (46.25” ) with 7.5” positive ease.
