Enez Stagadon is a sweater worked from the top down seamlessly. The cabled yoke is worked in the
round from charts and/or written instructions, the lower body is knit in one piece in the round, and
featuring cables interspersed with areas of ribbing. Finally, 3/4 or full-length sleeves are worked down
with stitches set aside at the underarm. If you like circular yoke sweaters, try this one for a change.
Due to the ribbing the knitted fabric becomes tighter to insulate better like the raw wool shirts that
fishermen, especially in Brittany, put on as they needed to protect themselves from spray, wind, cold,
ice…It’s a garment that smells of the sea, the spray, and possibly a few capricious Breton summers.
You can easily adjust the length of the sleeves, and/or body to get the fit you want. You can try it on as
you knit to make sure the length is just perfect for you.
The pattern includes a handy roadmap to keep track where you are on your way to your Stagadon,
which is easier to reach than the island it is named for.

This pattern had been Tech edited by Urban Yarning (15 pages pattern with photos, diagrams, charts and written instruction for each chart).
This pattern has been tested. Thank you SO much to my wonderful and talented testers.
