This shawl is knitted back and forth (flat) from the centre-out.
This is a top-down semi-circular shawl combines simple border of garter stitch with an original cable motif. Wrap yourself in cables with this Entwined capelet. Made in soft fingering-weight wool, this cape will be a statement piece for the holiday season. With its circular design it sits comfortably on
the shoulders and stays on easily.

In order to price my designs in a manner that maintains both financial accessibility and fair pricing, I will be using a “Pay What You Can system” model for all my pattern.

Yarn

  • De rerumnatura - Albertine (90% merinos d’Arles biologique,10 % silk mulberry, 200m per 50 gr skein).
  • De rerumnatura - Antigone (100% linen, 260m per 100 gr skein). Yardage: 12 skeins Albertine colour coquelico + 2 skeins Antigone colour grenat

The yarn I chose for this shawl is Albertine. It’s round and soft and bouncy and shows the detail beautifully. In association with Antigone (working has an end border)its touch is smooth, silky. This shade of red/ grenat is gorgeous in both reverse stockinette and cable, and it’s a perfect weight for year-round wear.
