Engebret is knit bottom up, starting with a Latvian braid, followed by a field of snowflakes, and finished with a Latvian braid. The cowl is bound off and then stitches are pickup up on the inside of the cowl for the lining. The lining stitches are knit and then are bound off and attached to the cowl. It is knit with the super soft and cozy Woolfolk Tov Dk. Beautifully finished, this cowl is a dream to wear and a lovely weekend knit. I love this cowl in a classic black and white, but I can also imagine it in lots of color combos and I really want to knit it with an accent color for the Latvian braid!
