Enid the Cat
Enid the Cat is knit in the round on dpns and has only two seams which are joined with Kitchener stitch. The finished toy is approximately 20cm tall.
Gauge/tension is unimportant, providing your stuffing does not show through the fabric.
It uses small amounts of yarn, only 60m of the main colour, so it is a good project for scraps, and it would be possible to use 4ply/fingering yarn held doubled instead of worsted. Or try it with DK if you want a mini Enid.
This pattern was inspired by the BBC show Hey Duggee, and I designed it for my own child after discovering the official Enid soft toys are no longer in production. It is not licensed, and in no way official, so please do not use this pattern for anything other than personal use. It has not been tested, and this is my first pattern, so apologies for any errors.
