The Enna Shawlette is a triangular-shaped, lightweight shawl.

This shawlette was designed for the Studio Solas Advent Calendar of 2022 which contained 24 20gr mini-skeins and optionally a 100gr undyed skein.

The first part (main section) of the shawl involves a mindless section of garter stitch, with stitches increasing every row.
Then there will be a challenging shetland-inspired diamond lace chart, and the shawl will be finished with a traditional shetland knitted-on border.

One size

My sample shawl measures 190 x 55cm, using 3,5mm needles and about 750m of heavy-fingering weight yarn (350m per 100gr).
For the main section, I used about 130gr of yarn in different colors, creating a striped effect. The diamond lace section and knitted-on border were knit with undyed yarn.
