Master striking woven texture with the Entrelac Headband, a stylish and practical ear warmer designed to keep you warm on chilly days. This digital PDF pattern provides clear, step-by-step guidance through the entrelac process, making it an engaging, quick-to-finish project for makers.

Keep your ears warm this winter! The basket weave pattern of the entrelac stitch is lovely in this headband when knit with Noro’s Silk Garden or hand-spun / hand-paint yarns. Framing the edges is a solid color of Silk Garden Solo.
It only takes one skein of each yarn. The smaller size is about 17 inches (42 cm) and the larger is about 19 inches (49 cm) depending on your tension.
I have included line by line instructions for each shape and line graphics for clarity.

Materials: Noro Silk Garden 1 skein CYC #4 110m or handspun and Silk Garden Solo (light worsted)
Needles: Size 6 – 16” (4 mm - 32cm) circular knitting needles.
Size: 17 inches diameter (43 cm), 19 inches diameter (48.3 cm)
Stitches used: Cast on, Knit 1, Purl 1 ribbing, Entrelac patterning, Knit 2 together, Purl 2 together, Bind off. It is also helpful to knit backwards in this pattern instead of turning and purling in the Entrelac section.
