Pattern in danish and english!

I played with the entrelac technique and wanted to crochet a shawl starting from the bottom tip going up. The shawl is finished off with a V-stirch border and picots.

I was in love with Kauni and wanted to make something that showcased that yarn. Nowadays there are lots of choises for selfstriping yarn with long coclourstripes and graduate transitions, but when I crocheted this shawl there wasn’t.

Now i would love to see this in scheepjes whirl or some of the many other gradients out there

The size is appriximate 150 cm wide and 80 cm deep.

There is gauge explanation in the pattern so it is not nessecary to get my specific gauge which was 15 stitches and 13 rows that gave a square that messured 7 cm on the side and 10 cm diagonally.

I used about 260 g of kauni effekt and about 80 g for the border.

You don’t need a specific tunisian hook for this but you do need a hook that has the same thickness al the way, that is no difference in shaft thickness.
