This super warm, super flattering poncho is knitted using Yeoman Kajam Alpaca super chunky yarn.

The garment is knitted using every other needle (EON) and joined on the machine with just two wrist/side seams to finish.
The addition of the knitted scarf which is joined to the garment at the back neck edge produces a versatile style that can be used in many ways.

We’ve added beads and a shawl pin made to match the garment using polymer clay, but any fringing, tassels, binding or edging of your choice would also look great.

Knitted in one size the garment is a loose fit for Up to a 48” hip however making the garment longer is simply done by adding more rows.

The Poncho took 2 cones of Yeoman Kajam Alpaca (1200 meters

The garment was knitted using a Brother 270 knitting machine with ribber, however wrist welts could be hand knitted if you do not have a ribber attachment.
