The origin story of this bag: I had some broken knitting needles. A shame to throw them away, right? (No, I’m not a minimalist, you guessed it right!) I thought of my grandmother’s beautiful macramé bag from the seventies, with wooden handles; sticks actually. Knitting needles!

Also: I like to make a statement.

When you repurpose your knitting needles, you probably want to use recycled yarn as well. DMC Nova Vita 4 is a recycled yarn and really sturdy.
