This versatile vest is knitted in a single piece from the
bottom up. The body is separated at the armhole and
the fronts and back are worked individually from there
on. The armholes’ ribbing and the front bands are
knitted on after the vest is finished.

  • SIZE & SKILL LEVEL Finished chest circumference – 25¾ (28, 30, 32¼, 33¾) in / 65.5 (71, 76, 82, 85.5)cm. To fit sizes 4 (6, 8, 10, 12). Shown in size 6. Intermediate difficulty - knit, purl, ribbing, decreases, picking up stitches, working in the round, short rows.
  • MATERIALS AND NOTIONS 3 (3, 3, 4, 4) balls of Rowan PureLife British Sheep Breeds DK (100% wool; 50g / 131yds / 120m); #781 Brown Bluefaced Leicester. Substitute with approximately 330 (350, 380, 400, 430, 450) yds / 300 (320, 340, 370, 390, 410) m of DK weight yarn that knits to the specified gauge. 3.75 mm (US 5) double-pointed and 32 in / 80 cm long circular needles. 4 mm (US 6) 32 in / 80 cm long circular needles. Always adjust needle size to obtain the correct gauge. 5-6 buttons, 5/8 in / 15 mm diameter. Stitch markers and tapestry needle.
