Equipoise is a half-pi shawl with columns of slipped stitches and dropped stitches on a garter stitch base. Increases are made on increase rows that are worked throughout the shawl. The shawl is finished with an attached moon phase border that is worked in knit and purl stitches.

Materials:
• Yarn: 5 balls of Kässäkerho Pom Pom Juno (95% recycled wool, 5% other fibers, 191 yds / 175 m – 50 g). Or approx. 867 yds / 793 m of sport-weight yarn.
• Needles: US 4 / 3.5 mm 32” / 80 cm circular needles.

The gold sample was knit using Pom Pom Juno in the colourway Harvest Moons. The rust sample was knit using Camellia Fiber Co Merino Sport (100% merino wool, 325 yds / 300 m – 100 g) in the colourway Terracotta.

Gauge:
14 sts x 26 rows = 4” / 10 cm in garter stitch, after blocking.
