The Equis shawl is a beautiful lace and textured stitch combination pattern. The center bobble-like stitch offsets the eyelets of the lace border, giving it a perfect balance. Both written instructions and charts are given. A twelve-row repeat for an elegant result with a twisted Latvian cast on and bind off give it a special touch.

I recommend using fingering or DK weight. If using lace, you may want to double the center panel to come up with a big enough piece.

The gauge is not critical for this pattern. This is a reversible shawl. I love wearing it all gathered around my neck. The yarn is so soft and squishy. Keeps me nice and warm!
