Designed for what knitting feels like today … welcome to a new take on one of my most favorite projects ever, my 7 Small Shawls series!

My latest subscription ebook, & Breathe, comes at a time when we’re celebrating knitting as a soothing balm in a turbulent world. Almost everything feels different today, but one skein of sock yarn can still create a beautiful wrap.

When I started my subscription series 16 years ago, the shawls gradually got more complicated with each volume. But over time, I’ve come to enjoy the simple and satisfying process of the knitting more and more. And now I want to take you on a meditative journey that feeds the soul.

So I’m stripping away the layers to bring you a collection of satisfying one skein shawls to knit. With an emphasis on process and clean lines, these projects will still have the little knitterly details you’ve come to expect from me.

The patterns for this eBook will be delivered to subscribers during a subscription period ending in December 2027. There is no specific delivery schedule, but all ten patterns will be delivered to subscribers by the end of the subscription.

All patterns will have charts where applicable and written instructions, and you will be able to make each one out of one skein of sock yarn or an amount of sock yarn comparable to that needed for a pair of socks. There will be three little extra accessories sprinkled throughout, for a total of ten patterns.

The patterns will all be available separately, as well, but the real value is in the whole book, just like my old series. I’ll also be talking about my process and the techniques live on YouTube!
