This hat was designed for my husband who has a larger head. Most beanies are too snug or too short for his head. I thought that some other people may have spouses with the same problem. This hat is a looser fit beanie that covers his ears.

This hat has been made a few times using thicker worsted weight yarn, double stranded sock weight yarn, and a bulky yarn. It is knit in the round using DPNS or the magic loop method.

I used 2 hanks of Caron x Pantone yarn for the sample hat shown, but did not use all of the yarn in each colorway.
