Erin's Folly
This pattern is for a headband with an attached, optional flower trim. It was developed because I wanted a pattern where the increases and decreases looked virtually the same.
Pattern features a QUAD INCREASE and a QUAD DECREASE, and instructions on how to do both. Pattern also features instructions for two sizes of the flower, instructions how to make the flower and how to attach it to the headband. There are also closeup photos of the headband with and without the flower so that you can see what the increases and decreases should look like plus a closeup of the flower.
Pattern is worked in Cascade 220. You can get more than one headband and flower from one skein. I was able to make two headbands and several flowers from each skein, and I still had leftovers. You can use leftovers for additional flowers, and you can get creative with more than one color in the flower --- edge in one color and center of flower in another.
A yarn with elasticity is recommended as headband stretches to fit snugly.
