This simple blanket knitting pattern is perfect for new knitters.

Simple knit and purl patterns are placed in block stripes across the blanket and surrounded by a simple garter stitch border.

This simple hand knit blanket is knitted in one piece… so if you can cast on, knit, purl and cast off you will be able to knit this blanket!

This DK Blanket knitting pattern has four size options!
I have included two baby blankets: A small square baby blanket that is perfect for small babies, buggies and car seats, and a longer rectangular baby blanket that is great for older babies at bedtime.
The medium and large throws / afghans are perfect for cosy family snuggles on the sofa.

The blanket shown here is the rectangular baby blanket, knitted with Debbie Bliss Rialto DK.
