Named after the Greek goddess of the dew, the Ersa Scarf is inspired by early morning walks through misty fields, where dew drops might be spotted glistening on spiderwebs, rolling down ripe berries or sprinkled among the long grasses and growing crops.

Whether you knit the small neckerchief version or the larger scarf option, Ersa is the perfect accessory for just such a dew-sprinkled walk at any time of year.

CONSTRUCTION
The Ersa Scarf is knitted from side-to-side in two pieces, which are joined together with a 3-needle cast off, once the knitting in complete.
Both the one-colour and two-colour versions feature a garter stitch background traversed with slipped stitches and geometric shapes which are created by working paired decreases with yarnover increases, small cables and interesting ‘junction stitches’ where the slipped stitch columns meet. The two-colour versions use a ‘double-pass’ technique (also known as ‘knit and slide’) to create single-row garter stitch patterning.
