Needle A: one 24-32” (60-80 cm) circular needle (circ) or set of straight needles for stockinette in body of sweater, and set of double-pointed needles (dpns) or preferred needle for small-circumference knitting for sleeves; recommended size: US 6 (4 mm)
Needle B: one 24-32” 60-80 cm circ, one 16” (40 cm) circ, and set of dpns or preferred needle for small-circumference knitting for lace and ribbing; recommended size: US 4 (3.5 mm)

Gauge
20 1/2 sts and 36 rows = 4” (10 cm) in stockinette in body of sweater on Needle A, after lace blocking
