DESCRIPTION

The Escalante Lace Wrap is a lightweight garment made with fingering weight merino wool yarn. The stitches are simple to learn the pattern is quick and easy. The completed wrap is asymmetrically shaped and ~30 inches wide and ~50 inches long. The triangular shape drapes effortlessly around your shoulders and allows you to wear it in many different ways and positions. To achieve the asymmetrical triangle shape you will increase, by two stitches, on one side only, which means increasing every other row. You will increase on every double crochet row and not on the “X” stitch row. Each “X” stitch row will be larger by one “X” than the previous row.
