Escher
“Escher” is a seamless vest, with the most simplest of structures…. a simple rectangular shape with inserted armholes. To keep the knit interesting, the back & left front incorporates two patterns of twisted stitches that magically transform one to another. The construction of the vest allows for an easy transformation into a jacket by elongating the sleeves into the desired lenght (instructions for this are included in the sleeves section).
“Escher” is knitted sideways, and so the number of cast-on stitches determines the length of the vest. The “width” of the vest is determined by the cms you knit, so… How can you select your size? To select the stitches that you need to cast-on, you first have to decide how long you want the vest (length) and cast on the indicated stitches for that size. You can adapt the “width” of the right front to your specific measurements, knitting as many rows (cms) as you need. Then measure your back and knit as many rows (cms) as you need. Knit the left front about 5 to 10 cm longer than the right front
