Espièglerie: noun es-pyeg-lə-ˈrē
The quality or state of being roguish or frolicsome

Espièglerie is a crescent shaped shawl / shawlette with a bobble border
and a textured open-work body. The border is worked first and then the
body is worked using short rows. It is easily customizable to a larger or
smaller size.

Garter stitch gauge:

  • 9 stitches = 1”. 8 ridges of garter stitch = 2”.

Gauge is not critical.

Pictured sample measures 70” upper edge X 14” deep at center and uses 2 skeins (400yds/ 380m) of Malabrigo Merino Worsted.
