EspressoTop is knitted from the top down. It begins with a purl pattern, followed by a stockinette stitch body. Finally, straps are picked up along the cast-on edge and worked in a purl pattern. The straps can be worn off-shoulder or as regular straps. A button is added between the straps to tie the whole design together.

Needles: Circular needles 4 (60, 80 or 100 cm – depending on growing number of stitches)
Knitting tension: Two threads on needle 4 in stockinette st: 10 x 10 cm = 19 sts x 33 rows after washing and drying

Washing instructions
Hand wash at around 40 degrees (Celsius) with wool soap. Don’t let the work soak in the water. Dry flat on top of a towel, preferably with heated floors.
