Butterflies floating across a field of flowers, that is what I imagined when I created this shawl.

If you have done any lace knitting before and have always wanted to try Estonian lace, this is an easy pattern to get started on. There is the traditional Estonian Lily of the Valley and flower patterns, and my own butterfly pattern, all with Estonian nupps.

This is a triangle shaped shawl. You start at the bottom point and increase up to the top. The finished measurements are 48” (120cm) wide at the top and 28” (70cm) deep.

You only need one ball of Lion Brand’s Shawl in a Ball or Shawl in a Cake. The color in my photo is Cleansing Quartz.

The pattern is charted only.
