Structure
The piece is worked top-down, beginning from the upper back. The shoulder stitches are picked up from each shoulder slope, and knitted back and forth to form the fronts. The fronts and back are joined onto one needle to knit the body. The Lateral Braid technique is used to form the horizontal line before the hem.

The sleeves are picked up along the armholes, and the German Short Row technique is used to form the sleeve cap. The sleeves are worked in the round after the short rows are complete. Decreases are made on the upper center of the sleeve in different rated to form a gently curving line. The Lateral Braid Technique is used to form the horizontal lines before the cuffs, and the gap in the Beginning of Round will be closed using a crochet hook.

The front edges will be tidied up with the i-cord bind-off technique. The ribbons are also made with i-cord knitting.
